Content Transparency

Our approach to content creation, review, and verification

What you can verify

Article source lists, raw markdown, and structured public outputs are all inspectable.

What is checked automatically

Source-link quality, data consistency, and parts of the writing standard are covered by CI scripts.

What still needs editorial judgment

Topic framing, balance between viewpoints, and voice discipline still depend on human review.

How content is created

Every article on Iran.md is the result of a multi-stage research and review process. We use advanced research tools and modern technologies to gather, analyze, and structure information. No article is published without passing through multiple layers of review.

Our process involves searching academic and institutional sources, cross-referencing information from multiple independent references, and iterative rewriting until editorial standards are met. Every claim must be backed by a credible source, and every contested viewpoint is presented with multiple perspectives.

Verification layers

1

Multi-source research

Every topic is researched across Persian and English, academic and institutional sources

2

Cross-referencing

Information is compared against independent sources and contradictions are identified

3

Editorial review

Every article is reviewed for accuracy, tone, structure, and editorial standards compliance

4

Automated checks

Automated systems verify source validity, writing standards, and data integrity

Limitations

Despite our efforts toward accuracy, no information source is free from error -- including Iran.md. Information may be incomplete, outdated, or in some cases incorrect. We do not hide this reality.

Some topics are inherently complex and carry different interpretations. We strive to present multiple perspectives, but the choice of which viewpoints to represent is itself an editorial decision.

Iran.md content is for informational purposes only. For important decisions, verify information against primary sources. Iran.md assumes no responsibility for decisions made based on this content.

Your role

Sources for every article are listed at the bottom of the page. We encourage you to consult the original sources directly. If you find an error or know a better source, report it through GitHub. Iran.md's transparency depends on its readers.
